A Day of Adventure Program

ALL days spent outside the hospital is meaningful and important not just for the children but the parents. At any moment any second things can change for these kids, and they end up in the emergency room and often admitted. Cancer kids live a life of uncertainty a life of fear and so many unanswered questions, Zoefia loved being home and away from the hospital, but she also loved activities and events. Zoefia was a little dare devil, she was very curious, adventurous, and loved trying new things. She loved going to farms and picking apples, cherries, strawberry, she rode horses, tried fishing, and loved amusement parks. We wanted to do it all!  So, these moments and these experiences that she had is what we want to give to families. “MAKING MOMENTS COUNT” and These moments that the families spend together are often crucial because you never know when it’s your last.

We offer an outing for the families, {Limited to immediate parents and Children} The child affected by cancer {The Adventure Kid} gets to choose an outing, this is ‘A Day of Adventure’ – One adventure per family.
