“The Father Figures” Stories was created because there are so many behind the scene moments for single parents that people just don’t think about. In general single parents have a difficult time juggling it all so add sickness to the mix. A child having cancer is not a typical child that is home with a cold, that just miss a day of school and in a couple days all is well. It is an ongoing job, there’s ALWAYS something to do, or SOMEWHERE to go, or SOMEONE to call and Medical appointments to either attend or scheduled.
As a SINGLE parent we wear multiple hats especially for critically ill children, family is always the best village to give a helping hand. Uncle played a major role in Zoefia’s life from birth to her last Heartbeat he was there.
I, was glad that he was always. there for you guy, and great brother and father, and someone to count on when you needed him, I am glad to met Zoe and you guys, from a friend, from RMH. we love you guys. thank you and your family for been apart of our family. great to know you all. MR. G.
